We had a wide variety during the Idol Duets performances last night on American Idol 2016 and it felt like the American Idol judges 2016 were liking someone and I was not, or vice-versa! Either way, Olivia Rox seems to have a lot of support from the American Idol Season 15 judges and that is a huge advantage this season. Olivia paired up with David Cook last night to take on one of this classics, so check out the Olivia Rox and David Cook performances on American Idol Season 15 last night below in our American Idol 2016 spoilers!
For the performance, they took on “Light On” by David Cook, so no pressure, right? He said this is the hardest song he has in his set vocally and it has so much range, but that makes singing it fun. Olivia has such a different sounding voice and it seems like she is struggling so hard to get the sounds out, but it sounds good what does come out. I thought she did great with this song, even if they didn’t blend well together at times.
For the judges, Keith Urban said Olivia Rox, yes she does! Jennifer Lopez said her voice is phenomenal and if she can find her groove, she is going to be around a while. Harry Connick, Jr. said she did a great job and Idol is lucky to have her.
